The Beckman Coulter QbD 1200 TOC Analyser w/Autosampler provides accurate total organic carbon measurement for pharmaceutical water and cleaning applications. Designed for point-of-use grab sample analysis, it suits Purified Water, Water for Injection, Clean-in-Place and cleaning-validation workflows. The system uses UV oxidation to convert organic compounds into carbon dioxide, which is then measured by a non-dispersive infrared detector. Dynamic endpoint detection confirms the removal of inorganic carbon and the complete oxidation of organic matter, supporting reliable and reproducible results. A large 10.4-inch touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for configuring sample trays, entering sample details and monitoring tests. Automated calibration, system suitability testing and report generation reduce manual input, while a full multipoint calibration takes approximately 90 minutes. Additionally, a single combined acid and oxidiser reagent simplifies preparation and helps reduce running costs. The analyser also minimises sample-to-sample carryover through carefully designed fluidics and flushing routines. Ideal for high-throughput laboratories, the included autosampler accommodates up to 64 standard 40 ml vials.
