A laminar, HEPA H14-filtered displacement flow above the work surface protects the sample, while the inward-directed supply air and filtered exhaust air stream protect the user and the environment from aerosols. The integrated UV-C cross beam is used for surface disinfection between work steps. It is used wherever work is carried out under sterile conditions with biological material – for example in cell culture, microbiology, and pharmaceutical sterile technology.
