About this model
Benchtop instrument for label-free biophysical characterisation of proteins. It runs nanoDSF, dynamic light scattering (DLS), static light scattering (SLS) and backreflection in parallel on the same 10 µL sample, across a thermal ramp or isothermally, for up to 48 capillaries per run. Reports Tm, Tonset, particle radius, polydispersity, kD, B22, molecular weight and turbidity onset. Operated from a touchscreen and a laptop running Panta Control and Panta Analysis.
This unit
NanoTemper Prometheus Panta protein stability system, built in November 2022. It measures thermal unfolding by nanoDSF together with DLS, SLS and backreflection on up to 48 capillaries per run, using 10 µL of sample and no dyes. Condition and testing: lightly used. The photos show the instrument powered on with the touchscreen at a 25 °C setpoint and communicating with its laptop. Software and computer: supplied with a Dell laptop. PR.Panta Analysis version 1.8 is shown running on it.
