About this model
53 L benchtop drying oven with natural convection from the VWR DRY-Line range, built in Germany. Microprocessor controller with LED display and timer, 2 wire shelves.
This unit
VWR DRY-Line DL 53 drying oven, 53 L, natural (gravity) convection, up to 220 °C. Rating plate: DL 53, version E2, nominal temperature 220 °C, 230 V 50/60 Hz, 0.8 kW, made in Germany. The serial number indicates 2016. Configuration: digital LED controller with timer function, IEC mains inlet with UK 3-pin plug. Condition and testing: good cosmetic condition. Powers up and works, and reached 218 °C in testing. PAT tested (pass, 13 February 2026, 240 V). Known issues: the door seal has started to perish and should be replaced. Some wear on the door handle, small paint chips on the door and marks on the chamber walls and floor.
