About this model
The Incucyte S3 is a live-cell imaging and analysis system that sits inside a standard cell culture incubator and images cells in their vessels over hours to weeks. A microscope gantry with an automated 4X, 10X and 20X objective turret acquires HD phase contrast and green and red fluorescence images from up to six microplates, or flasks and dishes on three interchangeable trays, while an external controller schedules scans, stores the data and runs the analysis software.
This unit
Incucyte S3 live-cell analysis system with the Green/Red optical module, made up of the microscope gantry and the controller. This is an earlier S3 with Essen BioScience badging. Configuration: Incucyte S3 gantry with Green/Red dual colour module and 4X, 10X and 20X objectives on the automated turret, three tray positions; Incucyte S3 controller with 16.37 TB data storage; Basler ace 1920-155um camera. Condition and testing: serviced and tested by the seller's in-house service team and reported fully functional. The seller powered the system on with a normal start-up, initialised it with no system errors, confirmed a stable software connection, completed the warm-up, ran motion, optical and fluorescence calibrations, cleaned and inspected the mechanical and optical components, and completed imaging scans in all channels with the 4X, 10X and 20X objectives. Good cosmetic condition. Software and computer: Incucyte controller software 2019C with user interface 2018C. Licensed modules shown on the controller: Spheroid. Not licensed: Scratch Wound, Chemotaxis, Neuronal Activity, Angiogenesis, NeuroTrack, Cell-by-Cell. A monitor, keyboard and mouse are supplied with the controller.
