About this model
The Opentrons Thermocycler Module GEN1 is a fully automated 96-well thermal cycler that sits on the deck of the OT-2. Its heated lid opens and closes under protocol control and seals the plate with a disposable seal, so PCR, NGS library preparation and other thermal cycling steps run hands-free within one OT-2 protocol. The block covers 4 to 99 °C and is controlled from the Opentrons App.
This unit
Opentrons Thermocycler Module GEN1 for the OT-2: a 96-well thermal cycler with a heated, motorised lid, so PCR can run hands-free inside an OT-2 protocol. It occupies deck slots 7, 8, 10 and 11. Condition: the module and its separate power supply unit are each in their original Opentrons box with the foam inserts, and the housings are clean.
