About this model
The Opentrons OT-2 is an open-source benchtop liquid handling robot for automating routine pipetting such as PCR set-up, serial dilutions, plate filling and NGS library preparation. Its 11-slot deck takes SBS-format labware and Opentrons modules, and its two pipette mounts take any combination of single-channel and 8-channel electronic pipettes, covering 1 to 1,000 µL. Protocols are run from the free Opentrons App over Wi-Fi or a wired connection to a laptop, and can be built without code in Protocol Designer or written with the Python Protocol API.
This unit
Opentrons OT-2 benchtop liquid handling robot with an 11-slot deck and two pipette mounts. It is supplied as the base robot without pipettes, so it can be fitted with any OT-2 single-channel or 8-channel pipettes and OT-2 modules. Condition: the enclosure, door and deck are intact, the gantry and pipette mounts are clean, and the deck lighting and camera are in place. There are light surface marks on the top front frame. Software: the OT-2 is run from the free Opentrons App and the Python Protocol API.
