About this model
The Echo 655 is an acoustic liquid handler from the Echo 650 Series (originally Labcyte, now Beckman Coulter Life Sciences). It transfers liquid by acoustic droplet ejection, without tips, pins or nozzles, in 2.5 nL droplets from 384-well and 1536-well Echo Qualified source plates to 96, 384, 1536 and 3456-well destination plates. Typical uses are compound management, dose-response and combination screening, assay miniaturisation and genomics set-up.
